He was the responsible technical engineer for all Group C Porsches at Brun Motorsport and won the 1984 German Championship, the 1985 European Championship and the 1986 World Championship for Sportscars.
RWS Racing GmbH was founded in 2001 in cooperation with Hans Jörg Hofer (former owner of KTM-Motorcycles).
The Home of RWS-Motorsport is Anger, a small village in the Alps near the Austrian Border. Salzburg is only about 10 km away. Anger is located directly on the Autobahn A8 Salzburg/Munich.
